We were extremely pleased with the entire process. We initially went to the Allen store. Gary invited us to come to Lewisville to view the sofa we were interested in. We toured the manufacturing process and saw the quality of the products you produce. We then changed the type of sofa and loveseat and Gary rolled with the punches. The furniture was delivered (kudos to the delivery service, they were fantastic) earlier than expected and in pristine condition. We are very pleased with the sofa and chaise. We love it. The quality is commendable. We are very happy with the leather selection, color, craftsmanship, and comfort. There may be a slight quality problem with the power recliner not aligning with the back of the left arm. When delivered, it was about 1/4" off. We were fortunate that one of the delivery men was also a service tech. He tried to position the seat; but, it may still need further adjustment. We'll let it acclimate for a couple of weeks and see if it holds its current position with use.

Jamie was a wonderful salesman with a good sense of humor(need one with me). showed us what we wanted to see and helped us figure out which leather was the best for us. Only problem we had was the furniture in the showroom did not look as huge as it actually is. Movers had a hard time getting the recliner in the front door. Door is normal 36" wide but the chair which was still packaged couldn't fit.They had to take it around back through my handicapped daughters 40". (Could have unpacked it and opened it and would have gone right in, but hindsight is 20/20). Movers said they could send the furniture disassembled for a fee and have a crew.assemble in the house. There really should be a warning that some of their things won't fit a normal entry. Otherwise, the chair is as promised and I will be back to order the sofa and side chair as soon as i can manage it. Oh, just so everyone knows; LOVE IT!

It was wonderful. Our first purchase of a leather sofa was very easy. The sofa is wonderful. My husband liked and still likes it so much that we had to have one cushion re stuffed because that was the only piece of furniture he sat on. The leather sofa co. did that for us. We went back last month and ordered the chair to match and an ottoman. They arrived at our home a day early. We were called to ask what day and time to deliver the above items. They were right on time in fact a few minutes early. They set the furniture right where we ask them. The delivery men were very professional and helpful. I do not know how the service could be improved, it was a great experience. We recommend them to everyone.

Overall, we had a good experience. I'm not convinced (yet) that the cost vs. value of the new leather couch is justified, but we made it work. Probably not for everyone. The delivery was good, but was surprised we had to replace one of the legs due to scratches, etc. Why did we have to find this? Also, we had several marks/scratches in our front door entryway to get into the home. I visited the actual model in North Dallas, but ordered from Mitch in Lewisville, because he always has an engaging manner, even if I'm not buying that day. The delivery man, "Hawk" is an exceptional employee and stellar representative of the company. I would be tempted to say, "Offer THAT guy a promotion!", but it would be a shame to take your best rep out of circulation. So, just pay him more, to encourage him!

Actually, we worked with three salesmen: Carl was our original sales person we worked with. On our third visit to pick a color for the recliner Carl had the day off. Jamie was very helpful with recommending the color we chose. After putting down the initial purchase deposit I returned a month later to make another payment before delivery and finance the balance with Wells Fargo. I was told Carl had been transferred to another store. Chris was very helpful with those final transactions before delivery. The crew for Vintage Delivery was prompt, courteous and efficient. Visiting the store, seeing how the furniture is made gives you a confidence knowing you will have a good piece for a lifetime. Picking which style and color is very intimidating, but Mitch showed us different things on the monitor that best suited us! The delivery was in the window we were advised. Movers took great care getting the sofa in the house thru doorways. I was impressed with the wrapping of the sofa. Movers took off wrapping and disposed of it themselves! The minute it was in place I knew it was what I had always wanted. The color and styling and the Quality are exactly what I wished for. The smell is an added bonus! It is a beautiful piece of furniture that will give us many years of comfort.

Kelly provided us with swatches which really made a huge difference, and eliminated guess-work after we got home. He was very knowledgeable about the different leather types and their country of origin etc., among other details. He made the shopping experience high-quality and accommodating. We have been shopping for a sofa for a long time. We actually had purchased two different sofas and sent them back to the stores. When we walked in to the leather sofa company, we weren't sure what to expect. Marc greeted us at the door and let us just kind of wonder around for a while. Wasn't pushy but was available for questions. So we started asking him questions and he was so informative and took so much care and time with us. He showed us different leathers, laid out the different colors for us to look at, showed us a factory in Louisville on the TV screens, explained how they were built, showed us a different options we could have on the couch and so much more. We were strapped for money as we were waiting for the refunds for the other sofas to be returned to our accounts. We explained that to Mark and he was more than helpful in allowing us to put A deposit down and waited until the funds have been refunded before putting the order in. And he still guaranteed a before Thanksgiving delivery. Fantastic! The sofa was delivered the Tuesday before Thanksgiving and earlier than the scheduled delivery time and it looks absolutely wonderful. Decided after our purchase to order the matching ottoman and Rob said he would try to expedite it since we already had the sofa and chair. He greeted us, opened us with some small talk, qualified us, presented the product, overcame any objections, and asked for and closed the sale. Lovely showroom, saw it as I was driving by. I have been looking for the perfect sofa that was not a deep seated sofa for several years. Walk into the show room, Phillip was helpful and gave me space to look around and sit on a few sofa's. Came back and asked what I was looking for, I described what I was looking for and he pointed out a few sofa's for me. None appeared to fit my needs at first based on the dimensions of my current sofa. Philip came back and we talked about options and he showed me a few more on the large TV and after talking a bit more and looking at leather colors I realized the Anzio was probably the closest I have come to in finding the perfect sofa for my needs. He was quick to cut a swatch, write down the dimensions, cost and mentioned the website to me. I left after about 20 minutes. The next day I measured my current sofa and found I was with 4" of my current sofa and called Philip back later that afternoon, discussed options and I placed my order, After so many years of looking for a new sofa I was very pleased to have found it so quickly. It's wonderful to have a sofa that I can sit back in and my feet touch the floor yet it still looks like a large comfy sofa. The navy leather is stunning, I am very happy to have something other then a brown leather sofa!

Marc was great to work with! He truly knew his furniture inside and out additionally he wasn't pushy. We told him what we were looking for and he immediately started to show us samples and made us feel comfortable with our purchase. Marc did warn us about the wait, but it still felt like it took forever to get our furniture, but nothing ever good happens overnight so we didn't mind waiting. Plus about a couple weeks out Marc called me saying it was almost ready. I can't remember the lady who called to set up delivery, but she was so sweet and helpful. The delivery guys were great and professional. I believe his name was Mo. He actually called saying that they could deliver our couch and chair earlier if I was available. And it worked out perfectly! They brought the couch in, placed it where I said, then he suggested maybe it'd be better a little over this way, so we tried it and he was right! Mr. Potts was very knowledgeable about the product and process of building the furniture. We were impressed that it was a family business and that the furniture was so well made. We spent several hours picking and choosing the type of couch and chair and the particular leather that we wanted. We were surprised that "custom" was no more pricey than the stuff in stores. The delivery was well done and before we were told our furniture would be ready. Mr. Potts called to tell us that it would be ready well before our vacation. The overall experience was good. We asked about delivery by the 4th and were told we would get a call about the possibility. No one called and we finally reached out on the 1st to determine delivery. Once we did get a delivery scheduled, all was good. The delivery guys called in the morning to see if they could drop off earlier as they were running ahead of schedule which worked out fine. I love the sofa. There are a few things I would change. I told Kelly I wanted extra stuffing, which was done, however, I realized that I should have just gone with a regular amount. Because of the zippers I have removed some of the stuffing which makes it easier to sit on. It is also taller compared to my other couch. I think this needs to be pointed out when someone is ordering a couch. Fortunately for us the living room is large and accommodates the couch. The color is fantastic and being able to remove the cushions is a real plus.

We were not planning to purchase but the quality of your products along with leather choices were far above any competitor. Then Marc worked with us to get what we wanted at a price that we believe was reasonable. After our purchase Marc answered several emails. It seemed too long between our purchase and the delivery but it was the same time range that Marc gave us. Your delivery crew was excellent. They called on the road when they were stuck in traffic. The furniture was all extremely well packed as they brought it into our house and they unpacked and set everything where we asked. We forgot to get pads for the sofa feet but the driver brought some pads from his truck and installed for us. Excellent experience from start to finish. Overall a positive experience. Leather color and quality is very nice. Comfortable sofa, chair and recliner. However, we purchased a recliner that we had not seen (no floor sample) It turned out to be bigger than expected. Seat cushions very big making our feet not able to touch the ground. Contacted store day of delivery to see if we could get cushion adjusted. There was a problem with one of the power switches but a temporary switch was set up so the unit would work until it can be fixed permanently. The delivery was requested to occur before the Super Bowl and they came through. We visited the new [competitor's furniture store] first and experienced seeing over 100 leather couches, but nothing that looked like a couch I'd want to live with for the next 20 years. There was always a lack of either quality or leather selection. Even custom made couches had limitations. The options reminded me of something you would put in a 'track home' with everyday furniture design. Not bad if you're on a tight budget or just getting started. But not for us. We had purchased at the store that preceded "The Leather Sofa" on Inwood Road and I wanted to go back, so we stopped on the way home. I was instantly at home when I walked in. Carl is strictly professional, and was very enjoyable to work with. He took every initiative to put together exactly what we wanted. It was hard to walk away. The price was twice of that [new competitor's store] but worth every penny. So we went home to measure, look at leather samples and ordered the next day. It wasn't the stock that sold us, although it was very nice. It was Carl's service and those great leather samples. I will recommend him to anyone who likes our couch. We were also thrilled that The Leather Sofa was so responsive to our short term notice. We really wanted the couch by Super Bowl Game. Less than three weeks away and they made it happen. Carl was not acting like a sales person. He acted more like a friend. No pressure sales techniques. Just straight up information and comparisons based upon functionality and comfort. It was a bit disappointing in not getting the down sections in time for the projected delivery date which Carl addressed. My understanding is that the down takes longer due to the transportation/delivery time etc... At any rate, I still feel Carl performed very well during my visit with my sister in tow. I really think the other 50% of the equation is the quality. The handmade 100% leather is out of this world. You guys really know how to make a sectional. However, I was not pleased that the installation did not go as smoothly as expected. The polished chrome legs were not properly installed during the installation causing them to push the receivers out of their casings. However, I was extremely pleased with the technician who fixed all of the legs in question. The turn-around time was less than one day. Awesome job!!!! I will certainly recommend The Leather Sofa company to my friends

It was really good, and Rob was great at explaining the complexities of leather and how the couches are built and helping us narrow down our decision. The one thing I wish we did was to discuss delivery of the couches as when they came to the house the movers claimed they couldn't get the couches into our media room and almost took them back. I previously assumed that since the previous owners had a sectional of similar design that ours would fit, but in the end ours was almost 2 feet longer on both sides. They fit great in the room, but it was very difficult to get them in. We had to remove a door to pivot them into the room, but this was a last ditch effort after we discussed having the longer of the 2 pieces rebuilt for several hundred dollars more. If we had known the size was so much bigger we would have ordered the smaller chaise which would've fit more easily.

We just received our Sofa on Thursday so we haven't had enough time to receive anything from the salesperson. In store experience was wonderful. Loved the 2 men I worked with. Sofa arrived with scratch on front wooden leg of sofa and the back cushions are saggy -not stuffed enough. I called Jamie and someone will be coming out to add more stuffing next week. Overall things have been good and I would recommend but the entire process isn't completed yet.

Its mine bc from time I purchased couch to getting it has been about 4months. But it was due to me taking forever to pick out fabric and the leather. Marc would always be willing to let me come in and help me by looking at the fabrics and letting me take home leathers. Very nice and easy to work with. only thing would have been better would been communication at time it was ready. I got an email it was ready for delivery and Marc had told me I could check out the leather antiquing before it came, to decide if I wanted more done. But I did let them know and was able to go look and still have it antiqued and delivered on same date. So it all worked out.

To my knowledge we didn't receive any thank you cards, but it's possible my wife did. She went to the store without me once or twice. But I worked with 2 salesmen, Matt (who we ended up buying with), and John. I thought both were good - Matt was the best since he offered me a beer. We were in a position shortly after Christmas where we had no living room furniture, so we went to several different stores looking over the period of about a month. Your store in Alliance Town Center was by far the best. The salesmen weren't too pushy and really sold that the company built locally and stood behind their product. I might have been most impressed to find out how long they've been with the company - I don't know how odd it really is, but I know at every other place I went to, the salespeople always brought up how where they worked now was much better than their last place, and mentioned they've only been at the current company for a short time. I think it says a lot about the quality of the merchandise as well as the company to hear that and it was a big part in me feeling good with our decision to buy with you. Initially, I think we thought your store would be out of our price range but we were pleasantly surprised that the prices were really fair. I've already told about 10 friends and coworkers about your company and our couch, so hopefully you'll get some more business since a couple of them said they were looking to replace their furniture. The delivery service was excellent. I liked the way the sectional was protected as the front door was a little tight. Mike was extremely competent and i trusted him. He was a fellow Vietnam Vet. I especially liked the fact that the sectional was made in Texas. I didn't want any crap from China. You're a bit on the expensive side but i feel like i got the quality i wanted.

Overall this was a great experience! It took 3 visits before I finally placed the order. First visit was just looking, second was for sizes and the third was to place the order. I believe it was about 2 months before I finally ordered. I did visit other stores as well as another leather sofa company but I kept coming back to you. It was just a "pleasant" attitude at the store. No pushing to purchase anything of buy something I really did not want. Too many salespeople now days just want the commission and could care less if the customer is actually happy. The delivery service was also excellent. They showed up on time, unloaded and unpacked, cleaned up. I was impressed as to how well the furniture was packed. My nosey neighbors had to actually come over to see what I had purchased. They could not tell anything when the furniture was unloaded because it was wrapped and protected so well. Right now I'm very happy and pleased with my purchase and I'm thinking about coming back to look at ottomans!

Overall, it was a very positive experience. However, we didn't hear anything between the time we placed our order and the email we received scheduling delivery. I called to check the status about 4 weeks in and was told they would call me back, but never received a return call. I think as soon as there is an estimated date that furniture will be complete, like a week out, it would be helpful to be notified. The prices seemed a bit inflated when we were looking around the store, but our salesman was able to work with our budget and we are very happy with the quality of our furniture.

Very professional interaction. He was open and honest and emphasized the quality of the product. That quality was clearly evident on the pieces on the showroom floor and the process was, quite honestly, unbelievably fair. I subsequently talked to an acquaintance who told me he bought furniture from you and still loves it. That convinced us we had made the right decision. Delivery was perfect - the crew was on time and very careful in carrying the furniture in and setting it up. We did find a rough spot on the back corner of the loveseat but the quality of the pieces is outstanding overall.

I can't say enough about the customer service we received with your company. We did have a problem because the size did not come in at the measurement that was expected. It was only off by a few inches but unfortunately it didn't work in our circumstance. Kurt who is our sales person, went to the owner Mitch and explained that somehow it wasn't manufactured at the specs that we were told. Well, you fixed it, delivered it and went on your way. It's refreshing to work with a company that puts that kind of emphasis on customer service. We couldn't be happier! Communication is everything for me and the day after our sale with Jamie, I called him to ask for some measurements to verify the sizing as I had some concerns. He was by himself and was very busy, promising to call me back. He did not call back and when I called the next day, he was off. Carl was there and saved the sale as I put a great deal of stock in knowing I can count on a salesman, this an important item in our home and most likely, our last sofa in our lifetime. To his credit, Jamie did call back and left a voice mail with an apology and I do appreciate that he did this saying he was extremely busy all that day and was by himself. Marlene, your Vintage Delivery person representative, was extremely kind, helpful, and I appreciate her communication skills. The delivery people couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Many thanks to them for a job well done. The couch is extremely beautiful, well made, one we will enjoy for many years to come. The cushions are very tight and uncomfortable now so will be checking with Jamie to see if this is a normal feel until the leather wears in. I don't remember the couch we chose being this stiff in the showroom so will be following up with Jamie for advice. Many thanks for making such beautiful furniture!!

The offerings of contemporary love seats is somewhat limited. As the population of over 60 are scaling down their living environments this is an overlooked need. Small living arrangements doesn't mean less quality is wanted. We were able to find one about 72". We love the size and the color is perfect.

My back hurt from sitting on our old leather sofa and, with the new one, for me its off the hard chair and back to the sofa! NORM WAS GREAT. Seriously. Every step of the way. I walked in, 20% chance I am buying, and if I was, it would have been months from now. Norm had me sold, no lie. I had been shopping around, I had been to competitive stores. Yours however, was priced just right, Norm was very approachable, passionate about his leather selection and cared about the build of the furniture, was friendly to my daughter, and let me tell you, the last time someone treated my daughter with that level of respect, I bought a 60K car from them. You need to believe, that without Norm, I wouldn't have purchased the 6K couch from you, I would have walked away. You made that sale first and foremost because of Norm, secondly because your store smelled terrific and was genuine, and lastly, the flexibility you have with design and options keeping a boutique store quality, with aggressive pricing models as if you were a major disembodied corporation. No improvement needed. We visited toward completion time (just for grins) and a young salesman named Matt asked to help us. After we told him already bought and were just awaiting delivery, he checked "online" for us to see status.

Nothing could improve the service or the quality of the sofa. I have to say, The LSC was the first sofa place we visited (just by chance) when we started looking for a new sofa. Initially we were a bit put off by price...we had seen less expensive sofas (sometimes MUCH less expensive) advertised. the "factory direct pricing" did not seem to be a reality. Jamie was the reason we ended up back at the LSC 2 months and many stores later. A note about Jamie- Even though we did not buy from him the first time we stopped in, he was an absolute wealth of information on both leathers and manufacturing, and gave us a base to go out and compare. He was not pushy, did not pressure us to buy, was supremely knowledgeable without being condescending, and was extremely patient and friendly, even though I knew he was probably working on commission and wanted our business. When we left the store that day, Jamie had spent some serious time educating us. We were much wiser for it, but Jamie probably had very little to show for his time...and he still had warm goodbye and smile for us. We visited about 9 different stores, even looking on the internet, and found many sofas for much, much less than yours. However, with 5 teenage children and 2 dogs, we absolutely needed toughness and durability. We also decided on a contemporary look, but could find very little that would seat 7 people comfortably. We quickly realized that the cheaper sofas would simply would not hold up very long (as Jamie advised us). Even in the more expensive sofas (the price of the LSC sofa or higher) the quality of the leathers and construction, while much better than the cheap ones, were still questionable (as Jamie predicted). We finally realized that we had to look at a high end sofa to meet our very specific needs. We found exactly what we wanted style-wise at a contemporary store down the street from Jamies location, where we had started 2 months ago. the couch was approximately $3000 more (on sale) than the LSC sofa we had originally looked at. We were just about to purchase, when we discovered a broken arm rest on the demo unit...exactly where my teenage kids would probably be vaulting. We left, advising the salesman we would call him after we decided if we could live with a great looking, expensive, probably broken-after-a-few-months sofa. it was late but we decided to take another look at the LSC sofa since it was right down the street. Jamie welcomed us back like we had been there yesterday. He actually remembered most of our requirements, and quickly spooled up on the others. We realized that the jaguar sectional we had looked at in the beginning was only slightly different in style to the contemporary sofa we had almost purchased, for for a better price. While I discussed this with my wife, Jamie came back over with a new price, better than his original, -much- better than the store down the street. We pulled out our checkbook and purchased on the spot. the money saved allowed us to also purchase the additional coverage on the sofa. the sofa was delivered ahead of schedule (about 3 weeks, I think) and the craftsmanship was absolutely incredible. even the back of the sofa, which seems an afterthought on most of the others we had looked at (as Jamie had pointed out originally), was attached beautifully. your installers were friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. My wife and I would like to thank you for our beautiful, large Jaguar sectional. Our whole family can sit together now, instead of 1 taking the bean bag on the floor. You did not lie to us in your radio adds...you make the highest quality furniture we could find, at the lowest price. Once we understood what 'quality' means in a sofa, that is. What you do not mention is the quality of your people, specifically Jamie, who was with us the whole way even if we did not recognize it initially. Very, very well done.

Ryan at the Allen store was great. We didn't plan to go to your store that day - we planned to purchase a much cheaper sofa at one of the other furniture stores but we saw your door open with a balloon on the door so we decided to stop in. Your salesperson, Ryan, and your display models convinced us that it was worth a higher investment to spend more money and get a really nice couch. It was just delivered this past Saturday - Vintage delivery guys were very nice. So far, we love it! One or two sections don't seem to have the leather "stretched" as tight as others, but I suppose it shouldn't all look exactly the same from cushion to cushion. We love the look and are very satisfied so far - at least after only a few days.

Having bought stuff from both Marc and Marty, I can tell you I appreciate their knowledge of you product line and business very much. We recently bought from Marty.
